By placing an order either over the Phone, Message E- mail or Website, customer has verbal or written agreement, and is bound to 4 Seasons cleaning services Terms and Conditions
The customer agrees to carefully read and acknowledge the terms and conditions upon receipt. If no reply is received, it will be deemed the customer agrees and accepts the below.
SERVICES OFFERED:
Domestic and commercial Cleaning
4 Seasons Cleaning Services provides a full range of office and factory cleaning services as well as domestic. The term “cleaning” does not include the removal of oil, paint, varnishes or other such substances or the cleaning of carpets (other than vacuuming).
4 Seasons Cleaning Services are to provide
REGULAR DOMESTIC CLEANING
- Minimum duration of 2 hours per cleaning visit applies for all domestic cleaning services.
- If an hourly rate is given, this refers to 1 cleaner for the hourly rate. 4 Seasons Cleaning Services reserve the right to send more than 1 cleaner to a premises. ( e.g. If 2 cleaners attend for 1 hour each, customer will be charged for 2 hours ).
- 4 Seasons Cleaning Services reserves the right to suspend cleaning services if payments are missing.
- Start times for cleaning sessions are a guide only, to within around 30 minutes. 4 Seasons Cleaning Services will endeavour to inform clients of late or early visits but this is not guaranteed.
- Whilst 4 Seasons Cleaning Services Cleaning endeavour to provide the same cleaning team at each scheduled appointment this is not always possible and is not guaranteed.
- 4 Seasons Cleaning Services can only give a rough estimate of the duration of the cleaning service, which is based on a basic description of the customer’s house / cleaning requirements. Please note that duration may vary therefore a degree of flexibility is required.
- 4 Seasons Cleaning Services agrees to keep any details of keys and access codes strictly confidential and take all reasonable steps to ensure the security of any physical keys and access codes. 4 Seasons Cleaning Services accepts no liability of any nature for any losses that may arise from the Client’s provision of any key and/or access.
- Customer agrees to provide a task list and all necessary cleaning detergents and equipment for the required work, unless other arrangements have been made with 4 Seasons Cleaning Services. All cleaning equipment should be safe and in full working order. 4 Seasons Cleaning Services uses its own cleaning products and tools and trains its cleaners in the use of those products and tools. If the Client requests that the Company use the Client’s cleaning products or tools, 4 Seasons Cleaning Services will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising out of 4 Seasons Cleaning Services use of those products or tools in providing the cleaning services.
- If the customer does not have cleaning detergents and asks 4 Seasons Cleaning Services to purchase requested items on their behalf, customer understands that an applicable charge will be assessed.
- 4 Season Cleaning Services will not be responsible for triggering any alarm systems. Customer should give any special instructions for deactivation/activation of any household alarm systems.
- 4 Seasons Cleaning Services reserves the right to use subcontractors to perform the cleaning services but no additional charge to the agreed rate will be applied to customer.
- The customer understands that the price quoted over the phone or email does not include anything apart from cleaning and ironing labour.
END OF TENANCY CLEANING
- 4 Seasons Cleaning Services reserves the right to amend the initial quotation, should the client’s original requirements change.
- If collection of keys is required from a location outside the postal code area of the cleaning scheduled, £15 (excl. VAT).
- The customer understands that the price quoted is not a “package deal” and includes only cleaning labour.
- Start times for cleaning sessions are a guide only, to within around 30 minutes. 4 Seasons Cleaning Services will endeavour to inform clients of late or early visits but this is not guaranteed.
- Whilst 4 Seasons Cleaning Services Cleaning endeavour to provide the same cleaning team at each scheduled appointment this is not always possible and is not guaranteed.
- Minimum duration of 4 hours per cleaning visit applies if a price per cleaning area is not agreed.
- Customer agrees to provide a task list and all cleaning detergents and equipment (vacuum cleaner, mop, bucket and portable ladder) required to carry out the service, unless other arrangements have been made with 4 Seasons Cleaning Services. All cleaning equipment provided by customer, should be safe and in full working order.
- 4 Seasons Cleaning Services can only give a rough estimate of the duration of the cleaning service, which is based on a basic description of the customer’s house. Please note that duration may vary therefore a degree of flexibility is required.
- If the customer does not have cleaning detergents, 4 Seasons Cleaning Services will supply all necessary cleaning detergents.
- 4 Seasons Cleaning Services agrees to keep any details of keys and access codes strictly confidential and take all reasonable steps to ensure the security of any physical keys and access codes. 4 Seasons Cleaning Services accepts no liability of any nature for any losses that may arise from the Client’s provision of any key and/or access
- The customer is advised that an end of tenancy cleaning may take double the length of time required for a general cleaning. After Builders Cleaning, After Party Cleaning or Badly neglected homes may take up to three times longer than a well-maintained home requiring general cleaning.
ONE-OFF CLEANING / SPRING CLEANING
- 4 Seasons Cleaning Services reserves the right to amend the initial quotation, should the client’s original requirements change.
- Minimum duration of 3 hours per cleaning visit applies.
- Customer agrees to provide a list of tasks and all cleaning detergents and equipment needed for the required work, unless other arrangements have been made with 4 Seasons Cleaning Services.
- Please note that the cost of a one off/spring/end of tenancy clean cannot be guaranteed without viewing the property first.
- Start times for cleaning sessions are a guide only, to within around 30 minutes. 4 Seasons Cleaning Services will endeavour to inform clients of late or early visits but this is not guaranteed.
- Whilst 4 Seasons Cleaning Services Cleaning endeavour to provide the same cleaning team at each scheduled appointment this is not always possible and is not guaranteed.
- All cleaning equipment should be safe and in full working order.
- If the customer does not have cleaning detergents, 4 Seasons Cleaning Services will supply all necessary cleaning detergents for additional £2 per hour. This has to be requested at the time of the booking.
- If collection of keys is required from a location outside the postal code area of the cleaning scheduled, £15 (excl. VAT).
- 4 Seasons Cleaning Services agrees to keep any details of keys and access codes strictly confidential and take all reasonable steps to ensure the security of any physical keys and access codes. 4 Seasons Cleaning Services accepts no liability of any nature for any losses that may arise from the Client’s provision of any key and/or access
- The customer understands that the price quoted is not a “package deal” and includes only cleaning labour.
- 4 Seasons Cleaning Services can only give a rough estimate of the duration of the cleaning service, which is based on a basic description of the customer’s house. Please note that duration may vary therefore a degree of flexibility is required.
- The customer is advised that an end of tenancy cleaning may take double the length of time required for a general cleaning. Post Construction/ After Builders Cleaning, Post Party Cleaning or Badly neglected homes may take up to three times longer than a well-maintained home requiring general cleaning.
COMPLAINTS AND CLAIMS:
The customer accepts and understands that poor service, breakage/damage or theft must be reported within 24 hours from the service date. Failure to do so will entitle customer to no refunds or recovery cleanings.
- 4 Seasons Cleaning requires the presence of the customer or his/hers representative in the beginning and at the end of the cleaning session as an inspection can be carried out and if any corrections, should be made on the same day.
- If the customer has scheduled an inventory check then it must be scheduled to commence no later than 24 hours after the cleaning job has been carried out.
- 4 Seasons Cleaning Services will not be held responsible for any injury or loss suffered to any type of animal or pet as a result of an accident during the delivery of cleaning services.
- 4 Seasons Cleaning may take up to 7 working days to respond to a complaint.4 Seasons Cleaning will not accept a complaint based on an Inventory check report, filed more than 24-hour after the cleaning session.
- Where it has been agreed that 4 Seasons Cleaning Services staff are responsible for damage caused to the customer’s property or belongings during the course of rendering cleaning services, 4 Seasons Cleaning Services will choose to repair the item, replace the item or make an insurance claim to that effect. 4 Seasons Cleaning Services are responsible for the replacement or repair and it is not the customer’s responsibility to replace or repair an item without the agreement of 4 Seasons Cleaning Services.
- Complaints are accepted verbally over the phone and in writing (letter or e mail ). Complaints must be reported on completion of services or in the following 24-hour. Failure to report such issues within the agreed time frame will negate the customer’s entitlement to a refund/compensation.
- All fragile and highly breakable items must be secured or removed. Items excluded from liability are: cash, jewellery, items of sentimental value (the customer will be credited with the items present cash value), art and antiques with proof of purchase recite.
- 4 Seasons Cleaning Services will not be held responsible for any replacement or repair required as a result of the failure of any worn, faulty, incorrectly fitted or fatigued components or other similar items.
- Key replacement/locksmith fees are paid only if keys are lost by our operatives. There is a £30 per household liability limit.
- 4 Seasons Cleaning agrees to keep all customers* information confidential.
- In case of damage 4 Seasons Cleaning has insurance cover and as outlined there will be a shared 50% of excess to be paid in any claim which must be reported 24 hours from point of clean.
- Customer understands that he/she is not entitled to any refunds.
- If the customer is not completely satisfied with a cleaning job, 4 Seasons Cleaning Services will re-clean any areas and items to customer’s satisfaction. Therefore, customer must allow the cleaner to be returned.
- Customer must be present at all times during the recovery-clean. 4 Seasons Cleaning Services reserves the right not to return a cleaner more than once.
- 4 Seasons Cleaning Services is insured, however it shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from the breaking or disintegration during cleaning by the Company’s servants or agents of any cracked, defective or broken parts of the property of the Client nor will the 4 Seasons Cleaning Services be liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from the general wear and tear resulting from the cleaning by the Company’s servants or agents.
INSURANCE COVER:
- All cleaning services are insured including £10 million public liability insurance (details are available upon request).
- 4 Seasons Cleaning Services has a Public and Employer’s liability insurance. The policy will cover any accidental damages caused by an operator working on behalf of 4 Seasons Cleaning Services, reported within 24 hours of service date.
- There is £500 excess on any claim, of which £250 are paid by customer and £250 by 4 Seasons Cleaning Services.
- 4 Seasons Cleaning Services reserves the right to refuse to share any of the confidential company’s documents.
SUPPLIES & EQUIPMENT:
- All suitable cleaning products & equipment are to be supplied by 4 Seasons Cleaning Services unless agreed different with customer.
- In some instances, we can use a customer’s cleaning products and/or equipment however a request must be made to 4 Seasons Cleaning Services management prior to your clean.
- Customer to ensure all necessary light, hot water and other facilities which may be required by 4 Seasons Cleaning Services from time to time to perform the Services are available.
- The Client shall ensure that its premises are safe and secure at all times for the employees, agents, consultants and/or subcontractors for 4 Seasons Cleaning Services
FEES & PAYMENT TERMS:
- The fees for our service are advised in quotation which forms part of agreement.
- We reserve the right to review our cleaning rates providing 14 days notice is given in writing.
- Payment is requested by bank transfer.
- A credit account is offered on the following payment terms:
- You will be invoiced Weekly, Fortnightly or Monthly depending on your preference
- BACS/Bank transfer payments are preferred.
HOLIDAYS & CANCELLATIONS:
- If your clean is not required but not cancelled, or cancellation notification is received less than 24 hours from the time of clean, the full cleaning fee will be payable. This also applies to the amendment of time a clean is scheduled for. ( If clean is booked for 09:00 and customer requests for it to be moved to 10:00 without providing 24 hour notice, full cleaning fee will be payable ).
NON-SOLICITATION:
During the term of this Agreement and for a period of 12 months after any termination of this Agreement, the Cleaner or any associated party will not, without the prior written consent of the 4 Seasons Cleaning Services, either directly or indirectly, solicit or attempt to solicit, divert or hire away any person employed by the 4 Seasons Cleaning Services or any customer of the 4 Seasons Cleaning Services.
In any instance where cleaning services are consumed, the customer agrees that during or after the termination of the cleaning service the customer will not hire or use any services provided by a present or past cleaner introduced to the customer by Spotless Cleaning. If the customer wishes to hire or use services provided by such a cleaner then the customer must pay a referral fee of £2000+VAT per staff member.
TERMINATION:
- Either party may end this agreement at any point following 3 Months in writing to the other party.
- Please note non-signature of this agreement does not invalidate it. If a quotation is received & services requested, it will be deemed that you are in agreement of the attached quotation, agreement & its terms in their entirety.
- These terms and conditions are superseded by any active Cleaning Agreement that is put in place for a specific client. Upon expiration or cancellation of such an agreement, these terms and conditions will come into effect as a fall back for the provision of service.
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by the relevant United Kingdom law, and by agreeing to be bound by them the customer agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts of the United Kingdom. 4 Seasons Cleaning Services reserves the right to make any changes to any part of these terms and conditions without giving any prior notice.
